    To select and use a wide range of materials and components to explore forces while designing and making a toy car.

  • Success Criteria

    Students will understand how aerodynamics affect the design of products. They will be able to justify the choices they make in designing and making a toy car.

  • Prior Knowledge

    Students will benefit from experience designing and making using simple tools. They may have some understanding of friction and forces.

  • Pencil
  • Decorative Tape
  • Colouring Pencils
  • Paint and Paint Brushes
  • Clay
  • Elastic Bands
  • Toothpicks
  • 1 Piece of Fabric
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 1 Packet of Elastic Bands
  • ¼ Mayku Standard Sheet
